Even more implausible was the wild flailing of highly-trained Special Forces upon encountering an ambush. After all, they are trained to handle such situations on a daily basis.

The dodos were depicted as fat and clumsy, as if due to overfeeding in captivity. The real wild dodos would have been a bit slimmer than shown in the show.

I really love this show which stands apart from other science fiction shows as it deals with more naturalistic things related to planet Earth rather than talking about aliens, spaceships and wars ragging on in the universe.
