Such thing may happen. And that’s why a new show titled Beautiful People having a similar kind of conflict, roped in actor James Murray to play a character that would speak for the rights of the so called helpless Mechanicals.

The pilot, penned by Michael McDonald, is set to hit the screens soon. After that, it would be interesting to find out what director Stephen Hopkins has in store for us in that gruesome sci-fi series.

Apart from Primeval star, the show has Frances Conroy and Patrick Heusinger set to play some important roles.

Frances Conroy will portray the character of Lydia, the mother of Murray’s character, while Heusinger will be seen donning the avatar of one of the enslaved Mechanicals.

More interesting than anything else is that Lydia’s demised husband was the founder of the company that first brought out the robots.

It seems, we are up for some baffling doses of sci-fi extravaganza, with the grains of eccentric drama sprinkled all over.

Of course, with the news of James Murray’s new project out in the open, most of his die-hard followers would like to catch a glimpse of his ASAP. And if you happen to be one of them, then have Primeval download to recap some his memorable acts as an investigator of space anomalies.

It’s needless to mention that the actor would certainly use some his experience from his previous work in sci-fi. But then, he has an entirely different role to play in the coming project.

Currently, all hopes lie on potential success of the pilot, and I will keep my fingers crossed for that!

And the best part lies here - the participants in this race includes Primeval star James Murray along with Gerry Martinez, and other supporters, who joined them in the race.

The motive of this race was to raise money for Cayman Islands Diabetes Association.

Diabetes is one of the growing issues these days, which is giving rise to various concerns. Perhaps keeping the same view in mind, the actor did take this step.

The actor was not alone; as he was highly encouraged, and cheered by a number of supporters, during the 100 miles long race that remained on, for 30 hours. I wish I could download that all.

But anyway!

The pair of James Murray and Gerry Martinez, started their race in Camana Bay at 7pm on Saturday morning, and they completed the same by mid-afternoon on Sunday.

They ran through all the way, covering districts of Grand Cayman.

Few supporters accompanied them by running up to 15 miles while others drove their vehicles along the sidelines, supplying water, and other materials.

Though the heat was strong all the time, they never stopped running. Their spirit remained high, and they ran until hit the finish line.

The duo did pretty well.

However, Murray also did encourage other supporters to run, and to take up something challenging like this.

With all this information I should not forget to mention that it was Murray, who first crossed the finished line, and Martinez completed the race about an hour later to him.

And more than $11,000 was raised through this race, for the Cayman Islands Diabetes Association.

Isn’t it great! Of course it is!

Well, by the end of the event, both the men looked really tired, and thirsty. Of course this happens when you ran this long.

But then, they also received cheers from their supporters, and fans as well. We are so proud of you, guys!

Sometimes I wonder how exactly kids of those actors, who seldom take to scary roles perceive their parent’s work.

More importantly, do they really take a look at all the suspense-draped acts?

When it comes to kids, I don’t think they would take their chances at scary scenes.

Well, former Primeval star Jason Flemyng has found a way out to make his children watch his acts, despite the fact that he is a cult movie hero.

The actor has landed himself a role in movie adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel, Great Expectations.

And his excitement knew no bounds, simply because of the fact that film wouldn’t represent him to be someone from gothic land, and this means, his kids would be able to go at their daddy’s work, full on.

The much anticipated movie is being directed by Mike Newell and besides Jason; there are stars like Robbie Coltrane of Harry Potter fame, Jeremy Irvine, Ralph Fiennes and Sally Hawkins on board.

During his interview in which he confirmed about big screen adaptation of Dickens, Jason also talked about Dexter Fletche, one of his oldest friends.

When asked to throw some light on the actor-director bonding of years, Jason opened his heart out, for being able to work with his old buddy, and revealed that both of them had completed around 150 movies together.

It seems as the big screen adaptation of Dickens’ work is going to take cinemas by storm, for you can’t expect a confident actor and enthusiastic actor like Jason to skip a beat.

Well, all the hype is justified, when you go on to make a movie about someone as famous as the sex symbol, Marilyn Monroe.

The sizzling siren, who is best remembered for her picture with the blowing skirt, was a reputed actress, singer, showgirl and model, who starred in a number of comic movies and commercials.

The lack of promotion till now, was a reason for panic, for many a people, as the movie was scheduled for a premiere at the New York film festival, this weekend.

The movie has been adapted from two books written by Collin Clark. The events in the movie unfold during the making of the 1957 film, The Prince and the Showgirl. Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier were the leads in the movie.

It portrays the time, which Monroe spent with Collins, while shooting for the movie at different locations in Britain, when her husband Arthur was not present in the country.

Those were the days, when she was introduced to the British life by Collins, and when she escaped the Hollywood routine and work pressures, for a while.

The movie is set for release in the United States on the 4th of November 2011. The film boasts of a strong cast with actors such as Emma Watson, Dominic Cooper, Judi Dench, Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Redmayne and Dougray Scott.

The movie has already created quite a buzz, so we just hope that it delivers a good performance too.

Hmm, I can sense that.

But still, the tension is not clear yet, unless I disclose what I meant by that title. Well, here follows its description.

Laila Rouass, who is working as Sahira Shah, a top surgeon in the series ‘Holby City’, has planned to quit it now.

The actress has been on the show for 18 months, and now, all of a sudden, we are hearing this news.

That’s so strange!

Explaining this shocking piece of news, this leading lady from Primeval, asserts that the taxing schedule of the show has instigated her to take this stand.

I just hope this situation doesn’t arise when it comes to Primeval. We simply love to watch her in the show, don’t we?

As per the sources, the lady will quit the show ‘Holby City’ in the month of April or May in the coming year.

If sources are to be believed, Laila Rouass is quitting the series on cordial terms, so that she can concentrate on other projects.

After entertaining audience in the U.S. and U.K., Primeval is all set to amaze the viewers in Canada now. Looking at the success of the show, Advertisement Space, Bell Media’s division, came up with the idea to produce a Canadian spin-off of Primeval.

It’s not just great news for Canadian audience, but also a matter of proud and glory for the show producers.

Primeval: New World is going to be a 13-episode show. Just like the original, it will also showcase a group of animal experts travelling with the motive of carrying out a research on ancient and futuristic creatures.

Some characters in Primeval: New World have been taken from the U.K. series while some are original. However, it’s been heard that the Canadian spin-off is going to be much darker than the original one.

Besides the characters, the storyline has also taken a twist. After all, it’s been written by Canadian writers.

Sometimes it becomes hard for a star to come out of his self created cocoon of fame and recognition. The surrounding glitz makes it impractical for him to realize that those around him also have the magnetism to pull in the crowds.

Former Primeval actor Ben Miller is not someone who would be listed in the above-mentioned league of rather arrogant stars!

You may be pondering if I am building castles in the air, and just assuming Ben to be a down-to-earth kind of chap.

Well, it just happens that I got hold of one of his interviews during which he spelled the name of the famed Hollywood actress Thandie Newton, when asked about someone who really caught his eyes.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s no romance brewing between the two! It’s just that Ben was so taken in by his new movie’s co-star that he couldn’t help himself from uttering out her name instantly.

The 38-year-old Briton is indeed a top-notch actress with movies like Mission: Impossible II, The Pursuit of Happyness, and Crash under her belt.

I really feel that she is a good catch for Ben Miller’s new film, Huge.

More important than anything else is the fact that he got to work with a star of her stature in his directorial debut.

The movie is likely to hit theaters by this July, and there can’t be any doubt that Ben has high expectations from it.

We are well acquainted with his acting skills, and I am sure that most sci-fi lovers would love to watch Primeval online, despite the fact that the show has been off air for a long time. Some might even take their chances to go for a download of the same.

Having said that, it would be interesting to witness how good he has been in calling the shots for his first movie project. The fact that he has some experience in TV pilot must have come out as good help for him on the sets of Huge.

Yeah you heard that right, the love affair of Ben Miller and Alexander Armstrong lingers on … but only when it comes to comedy!

Well, it is rightly said that it takes two to tango! Miller has come up with a huge comedy (literally) about two comedians who meet by chance, and discover that together they can make people laugh.

An interesting story lies behind the discovery of one of the actors in the movie. Miller was stuck in a lift, and the actor who was also stuck with his friends was making them laugh, and Miller soon realized that he had found the perfect person for the role!

Miller has tried to depict his own relationship with his comedy partner Armstrong in the movie. According to Miller, Armstrong is the funniest person he has ever seen in his life.

The actors soon started having a comedy affair, but it seemed like there was a double trouble coming their way!

Before you start making all sorts of guesses, let me decode the mystery! Armstrong was already involved in a double act with his previous partner.

Hence, instead of being a threesome, the story ended with double trouble. And, so the two actors came together, and finally their love blossomed in the comedy world (but, of course).

It seems that somewhere, Matt is getting de-motivated by the obstructions hindering his mission; Lester being the most prominent of them all!

However, he doesn’t give up and slogs hard to get a hang of things, and proceed wisely in order to figure out who is the major thorn in his way!

Meanwhile, Primeval season 5 episode 5 will also feature ARC struggling hard to make its way through the incessant anomalies opening up at distinct places in the city.

Every team member is aware of the imminent danger awaiting them in the form of another mammoth creature roaming freely on the streets.

It will be a real task for the entire team to put a halt to these activities. However, June 21 will be the D-Day, when Matt will try to bring the situation under control.
