Talking about the show, the previous post on this blog discussed about the major goof-ups made in the episodes. There were flaws on the part of the creators of the show which easily came to notice. Gorgonopsids and Scutosaurus shown in the show were not actually dinosaurs. They were the ancestors of the mammals. Cutter was shown breeding myths by counting the ribs of skeleton to determine gender of the animal. Spiders were shown scared of light though ironically they had come through the shining anomalies. The dodos shown as fat and clumsy are actually not so fat. Watch Primeval episodes and see if you are able to locate these flaws.

We all know years of research go into making of any sci-fi and there is always a team of experts to advise the creators. Primeval TV Show being one of the most expensive and well received shows before it was cancelled was expected to fare well in this aspect. But almost in all episodes of Primeval, major goof-ups were made. I suspect that creators of the show believe that audiences are a bunch of morons who would gobble up every bit of crap served to them. Here are some of the major slip ups–
Gorgonopsid and Scutosaurus were not dinosaurs. They lived during the Permian era while dinosaurs appeared during the Triassic era. They were mammal-like reptiles that were ancestors of mammals.

Cutter was shown counting the ribs of the skeleton to determine its gender. However male and female human skeletons do not differ in their number of ribs. It’s just a myth which has its origin in The Bible.
In the first episode, Connor said that his website contained data on extinct vertebrates; however the data he had was regarding Arthropleura even though it was an invertebrate.
In the episode two of first series, if the spiders were so scared of light, why would they enter the brightly sparkling anomaly?
The high level of oxygen interfered with the functioning of soldiers’ guns yet it failed to affect Stephen’s brazing torch. Even more implausible was the wild flailing of highly-trained Special Forces upon encountering an ambush. After all, they are trained to handle such situations on a daily basis.
The dodos were depicted as fat and clumsy, as if due to overfeeding in captivity. The real wild dodos would have been a bit slimmer than shown in the show.
What would you do if pursued by a large winged predator? Don’t you agree that one would head for the nearby trees rather than staying out in the open? Anyway, Anurognathus ate only insects.
Last but not least, at one point Nick said that killing the creature from the future was permissible, because the past and the present won’t be affected. It implied that creatures from the past weren’t killed as it would have affected the past as well as the present. However, not just killing rather any interaction would affect the course of events.

Yes folks, the fun is going to doubled soon. Primeval, a great TV series is soon going to be made into a movie. I could not stop myself from jumping in excitement after hearing this news. Being an ardent fan of Primeval, I have already geared myself up for this dual treat.
Impossible Pictures has teamed up with movie powerhouse Warner Bros., to produce the movie and the production is supposed to start later this year. Primeval TV series being such a grand show to watch, we can only imagine what great spectacle the movie is going to be.

Primeval is a unique TV show, falling in the genre of sci-fi series. Most of the sci-fi series are based on the concept of aliens, but Primeval focuses on the appearance of temporal anomalies across Great Britain. The show focuses on a team of scientists who investigate these anomalies which contain pre-historic and advanced creatures that enter the current world.
However, since I have got a busy and fluctuating job schedule, I have often missed out on some of the episodes of Primeval. Here internet and this website have served as a solution. Through this site I was able to download Primeval episodes. In case any of you have missed any of the episodes of the show, then I would say this website is definitely the one you need to check out.
Coming back to the show, the fact that its production has always involved grand setups and latest techniques and that it is produced on a large scale, accounts for its huge production cost. That is also one of the reasons, why the fans of Primeval have always savored an out of the world experience while watching the show.
And just imagine, if the show is produced and presented in such a grand manner, what an experience it would be to watch a similar version on the big screen. So guys, get ready to experience the fun on much bigger scale as we wait for the Primeval movie to get to the theatres!

Hey friends! So it’s that time of the year again when we all are waiting with anticipation for our favorite dino show Primeval to return. And this year also the show is coming back for the third season with a brand new set of 10 episodes. As per reports, while most of the episodes of this upcoming season are complete for airing, some of the episodes are still under various stages of post production and will be complete by the time the series is supposed to air sometime in February. But that is not all. Even before the third season starts airing, the creators of this science fiction series have already started brainstorming ideas for a fourth run of the series. According to reports, the creators Adrian Hodges and Tim Haines have already started discussing the possible plotlines that could be used if a fourth season of the series is commissioned. Seems like they want to prepare themselves well in advance for yet another adventurous seasons!

Now that is what I call a really positive attitude. With the third season yet to start and without even having any idea whether the series will be renewed for a fourth season or not, the creators have started planning for it. But I think that they know very well that the series has little chance of being cancelled as it is liked by people from all age groups who tune in every week to watch Professor Nick Cutter and his team as they prevent prehistoric and futuristic creatures to enter the present. Though many people have compared it to the movie Jurassic Park, I feel that Primeval has much more to it than just dinosaurs. It is not a show about dinosaurs only; it is also about what catastrophic results human carelessness can bring on to this world. I really love this show which stands apart from other science fiction shows as it deals with more naturalistic things related to planet Earth rather than talking about aliens, spaceships and wars ragging on in the universe.

Well the new season of Primeval is about to begin. So let me give you a little sneak peak into what the season is going to be about. Well the season will be a lot more hi-tech to start with. The creator has introduced a lot of sci-fi into the show. The series which was originally scheduled to have only seven episodes has now been expanded to have a total of ten episodes. Also new cast members are to be introduced which include Jason Flemying, Laila Rouass and Ben Mansfield. Jason will be playing the role of a policeman who is drawn into the mystery due to his brother’s death. Laila will be playing the sexy Egyptologist and Ben will be donning the cap of the team’s bodyguard.

As for the telecast date of the season, I am sorry to disappoint you as there is no information regarding that as yet.
I know it has been an awfully long wait since the end of the second season. Now with the premiere of the third season being shifted to next year it is becoming an unbearable wait for the all of us.

I just miss the excitement and suspense of the show. My kid sister used to watch the show just because she loved to see the huge dinosaurs. She is as anxious for the show to return as you and me. So let’s hope. I am also dying to know what happened to Helen after she mysteriously disappeared as well as whether the team was able to correct the anomalies of time or not. Oh, this suspense just drawing me crazy so please bring on the show as soon as possible.

It’s pretty good news that, the season three of “Primeval” is coming back. But hey it’s really unfair that no date has yet been announced. I just know that it’s coming up in 2009. I have no idea whether it will happen in the beginning of the year or in the middle. Oh Please! Don’t stretch ahead of that. It has already been eight months and count the next two as well. Ten months are more than enough for the filming of ten episodes. I can bear hardly one more month of 2009. Come on! If this is gonna take this long, then I’ll prefer to watch Jurassic Park one more time.

Hey but it’s pretty difficult to avoid this series. I really miss those dinos, I mean dinosaurs. Those forests, that adventure, that rat race with time can’t be found any where else. The series is like the expansion of the Jurrasic Park movie. In fact it carries many more attractions comparatively. I liked Cutter’s wife’s time traveling a lot. What a creative idea man! A person goes to explore into the existence of dinosaurs and suddenly reached back in time from a forest. She keeps roaming into different times through out the seasons. It won’t be wrong calling it a fast track series, things go so swiftly here. The creatures in the series have always fascinated me. I know the creative team has done lot of hard work on these. Once, its making was shown on discovery channel. They shown there, all the fine tacts, which are adopted to bring a real look to the creatures of the other world. That’s why; the scenes carrying these species are so lively and natural that you can hardly notice any artificiality.

My favorite place to watch its episodes is here. I have watched the second season twice. The more and more times I watch, it raises my expectations from the third season. Here’s enough time ahead in third season’s arrival, so meanwhile let’s enjoy the existing two seasons here.

The third season of the series is scheduled to be aired in January, 2009. As the first and the second season of the series had six and seven episodes, the third season will be a bit longer with ten episodes. Fans of the series are all enthusiastic about the third season and they can’t wait for the series to get started. Don’t know if they are excited to see the storyline move ahead or not, but they are definitely excited to see what kind of creatures they will get to see on the show in this season.

The series will have the same star cast as that of in season one and two. With Douglas Henshall, in his serious role as Cutter and his team consisting of Hannah Spearritt as Abby, James Murray as Stephen, Andrew-Lee Potts as Connor and Jenny Lewis as Jennifer.

After the show has been well received, in Britain, it has also been broadcasted in America, from 9th august, 2008 on BBC America. The show has already been popular in America with the masses and the critics. The series is full of entertainment for all the kids who just can’t get their head off the dinosaurs. The series with Cutter and his team, who fight the anomalies to save the human race, is just as exciting and thrilling to be watched by the elders too.

In all the series has already got the publicity that was required for a new show, because of its success in Britain. But still how well the series with the strange creatures both prehistoric and futuristic, on one side and expert scientists on the other, will manage to do in this new country is still a question and we will have to wait for the response.
